Description: Urutawa Drive House is a two bedroom retirement house with a fully glazed North elevation for optimised passive solar gain, while also achieving privacy from surrounding neighbours. Insulated and exposed concrete slabs passively store radiant sunlight energy, naturally warming the house when external temperatures cool. The main feature views of the house are farmland, expansive surrounding lawns, native tree restoration, and a reinstated wetland which collects and cleans storm water run-off.
