Description: Railway Road shipping container house was a fun sketch design project presenting ideas to a client on how to get shipping containers to work environmentally, and in a floodplain. Two containers would be used at 15sqm each. The design needed to achieve 1). Passive solar gain, shading, and solar panel integration 2). Natural air flow and passive cooling 3). Design for 1-4 people, or family, and 4). Under $100,000 budget.
