Description: Located on the Southwest coastline of Western Australia, with primary Southern views over the Harbour and Great Australian Bight Ocean in the distance.
Optimizing Southern views, maximizing North sunlight for natural heating, protected outdoor living area from harsh sunlight, cross ventilation and natural cooling, and designing a house which relates to landscape through form and topography were the objectives for this family house design. Bushfire attack level was also another key factor in determining house location.
