Description: Coatesville House is a series of stacking saw tooth roofs designed to capture every possible bit of sunlight during winter and naturally exhaust warm air through a series of clerestory windows during summer. The family house design is a bit like an old saw tooth shaped factory roof- but smarter! Insulated concrete floors, and feature precast concrete walls capture, store radiant energy and release warmth at night. Clad in brick for longevity and low maintenance. The house captures 20,000L of rainwater for drinking and has a natural flow wormarator waste system.
